Fall is a wonderful season full of a riot of colors and your scrapbook pages can reflect that fall rainbow of colors. Instead of random photos of the season, why not try to see how much you can find, would you be able to fill a page or two with a fall alphabet?
This alphabet page, “ABC’s of Fall 2015”, shows you one way to get started.
You’ll remember the Cornerstone Leaf die I created earlier; I promised you’d see it again! Along with it I’ve used the Alphabet die to cut letters in black.
I’ve used pinwheel pattern #250 for this layout and used Die Sets A and B for squares and rectangles. The smaller 1” squares used a 1” EK Success punch. Die Set A, squares, makes quick work of trimming the photos for the 2×2 and 3×3 blocks.
The Butternut Squash 12×12 Grid serves as the base with a small gingham pattern paper is cut for all the border pieces.
The chalkboard block is cut from the Chalkstock paper and mounted on a paprika base. (Die Set C) The cornerstone leaf base tile is a terra cotta tile.
This one page layout shows several fall items that match the letter nearest to the photo. The list of items is written on the chalkboard. An acorn embellishment offsets the space left at the bottom of the board.
If you search your photos you may find all the items you’d need to make this page up, but if not, make a list of the items you still need and head out to your favorite fall spots and start shooting!
Share your fall layouts with us on the Mosaic Moments Facebook page. Be sure to check out all our fall ideas for scrapbooking by selecting the word “autumn” at the bottom of this page. There are so many ideas to try!!
